Reach the PhotoFilter team — bug reports, wrong math, preset suggestions and site feedback.
Email is the channel: hello@photopassport.online. A person reads every message — no ticket system, no autoresponder pretending to be one.
When the tool misbehaves
Bug reports go to the front of the queue. To help us reproduce what you saw, include:
- the slider positions or preset you were using (a screenshot of the sliders is perfect),
- the input file’s format and rough dimensions — not the photo itself, unless you’re happy to share it,
- your browser and operating system,
- what you expected versus what happened.
Because your photos never reach us, we can’t inspect a problem file unless you choose to attach one — but the editor is deterministic, so the details above usually reproduce the bug on our side anyway.
When a page is wrong
If a formula on the slider math page doesn’t match what the tool does, or a figure in a guide is off, send the page URL and the correction — ideally with a source. Inaccurate math on a site that advertises honest math is the worst kind of bug; those reports get priority too.
Ideas and requests
Presets worth adding, adjustments we don’t have (curves? HSL? rotate?), batch features — describe the photo situation you’d use it for. Real workflows shape the roadmap more than feature lists do.
Answers that don’t need an email
- “The download looks slightly different from the preview” — expected in one specific way: the preview runs at up to 1400px for speed, so sharpen and grain look marginally finer at full resolution. Same math, more pixels. Anything beyond that is a bug — report it.
- “My file won’t load” — HEIC, TIFF and RAW aren’t readable by browser decoders. iPhone users can switch to JPEG under Settings → Camera → Formats → Most Compatible.
- “Where did my edits go?” — nowhere, intentionally: everything lives in the tab and resets when it closes. Nothing was saved server-side because there is no server side.
Reply times
Corrections and bugs usually get an answer within a few days; everything else can take longer. One thing we can’t do is edit a photo for you over email — not from stubbornness, but because this site has no image server at all, which is also why using it is private. The editor is always the fastest route.
